Trek Overview

About This Trek

A long, lofty ridgeline trek through the eastern hills of Nepal, famous for its unbroken rhododendron forests bursting into vivid red and pink bloom in spring. The Milke Danda ridge offers commanding views of Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and Everest — completely crowd-free and deeply rewarding.

Walking the Milke Danda ridge in April is like trekking through a river of blossoms — the rhododendron forests are among the most spectacular in Asia. Add the unobstructed views of eastern Nepal's highest peaks and the near-total absence of other trekkers, and this becomes one of Nepal's finest seasonal highlights.
